U Tun Sein

U Tun Sein was born in 1927. He was interestes in art since childhood. He studied under U Ba Nyan in 1954,55. He has contained many group shows of Sarpaybaik man Art Exhibition.He is interested in art as well as literature.He has written many art articles as about impression, post impression and about the famous artists in the world. Early his art works were realism. Then the famous modern artist U Aung Khin Leaded and showed him modern art. So his later art works were the impressioni sm and abstractionism.

He began his studies in painting through the coorespondence course of the Press Art School of London. Later he containued his studies with U Hpo Tone, U Maung Maung, U tin Maung, U Thein, U San Lwin. U San Win and U Tin Nyunt. He painted in both water colour and oils.
