Sitt Nyein Aye

A graduate of the prestigious state school of Fine Arts (Mandalay) and a well-know artist in Myanmar. His parents were farmer. his first solo show was " The little Woman in the Ear" at Lawkanat Art Gallery. His oil paints were rationed out equally by colour in ting amounts. So metimes he wrote an article entitled in the Dary, Every Cat is Black Biography. Previously , all signboards were done with coloured Letters on a white background.

But he revolutionized commerical art in Upper Burma by incorporating wode variety of colours , textures and design developed from his study of modern art. He designed a new badge for the military and cliel small project for military intelligence paersonnel. He claimed , I had exact opposite problem as before.
