Nyan Shein

U Nyan Shein was born in 1925. He is a native of Taungdwingyi, Magway dipision.He studied apinting under U Ba Shwe, U san Shein, U Mya Saing, Saya Saung and U San Win. He served in the Education Department, starting as a draughts man but promoted through various positions to reach the rank of Township Art Officer. He worked both in water colour and oils.
